The roller shutter is a type of door or window shutter that consists of a number of horizontal slats connected by hinges.

• The slats are made of steel or aluminum and are approximately 1.25mm thick.
• The slats are connected to each other and wrapped around a specially developed tubular shaft drum.
• The door opens when raised and closes when lowered.
